Mozilla Firefox - Disable Pop-up Blocker
When a pop-up is blocked in Mozilla Firefox, you will receive a message with an options button as well as an icon in the address bar. You can choose to disable the block for a single page or the site.
Click or tap on the Options button in the info bar or the icon in the address bar,
A menu will be displayed with the following choices:
- Allow/Block pop-ups for lms.iaff.org
- Manage pop-up blocker settings…
- Don't show this message when pop-ups are blocked
- Show <the blocked pop-up>
You can choose either Allow pop-ups for lms.iaff.org or Show (the blocked pop-up).
Allow pop-ups for lms.iaff.org will allow course modules within the IAFF Online Learning Center to open without issue in Mozilla Firefox.
Show (the blocked pop-up) will only open the particular course module that is referenced in the URL. You may have to go through this process again for other modules.
Once you have made your choice, if you do not see the new window, minimize the LMS window. It may be hiding behind a larger window.
